Maaike |
| |
Born and raised in Holland, Maaike developed an interest in foreign countries at a young age.
It was therefore no surprise when she went off to study Tropical Land-use at Wageningen University. While enjoying her student life, she met her Mexican husband.
Together they have traveled most countries in Europe as well as Turkey, Peru and Colombia. Six years ago they moved to Mazatlan and have two young children. An active member to the community, Maaike does much more than just Salsa! She not only bakes the best brownies in the world, but is also part of the local choir, where her specialty is Opera.
Be sure to ask her for a sing-a-long!

Victoria was born in the nation’s capital Mexico City, but grew up in Morelia Michoacan.
She has a degree in art restoration and loves sculpting wood and Mayan instruments. Her passion for the ocean has led her to live in many Mexican beach destinations, like Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Playa del Carmen.
But the contrast between desert and sea is what made her stay in Cabo San Lucas. When Victoria isn’t wearing a chef hat, she loves to go for long walks along the beach with her husband, 2 sons and 2 Dalmatians.
She likes art exhibitions or going out to dance with friends. You might run into her at the front of the Conga line of Salsa and Salsa! |
